Matt: Update on my dad:

His last CT scan yesterday morning showed non threatening signs of swelling. There is 1 more CT scan scheduled for tomorrow morning to check but they think he already hit the high end of the swelling threshold. Speech is weak and frustrating for him at this time. He knows how to say very few words, but we can see him try to say things to us, gets frustrated, and says $h__. He can say yes, no, well, ok, and mhmm if you ask him a question. Sing slowly to him and he will join in if he knows the words, not clearly, but clear enough to know he's singing with you. Although, i did get him to count to 10 in Polish by helping him and he did continue to count a few on his own without my help. Yesterday we got him to move his right toes and ankle. Today we could see him try to move his lower right leg, but still not able to yet. H

e is on a puree diet as his swallow test came back not strong enough for regular food. We all appreciate the kind words and prayers everyone has been saying for us. Until the next update...
